The Standard Service Fee includes:
- Taking apart the machine to extensively clean and de-lint it
- Oiling of all the appropriate points
- Adjustment of your tensions
- **NEW** Now includes $20 worth of extra labor at no charge!
What this means? For most machines that are brought in, in order to get the machines into working order they require at least a few more things to be done than what is covered by a standard Clean, Oil, Adjust. Now, we are essentially including in the standard service fee up to $20 worth of these adjustments or services that would have been charged on your bill before. This means the total bill will be less!
We require a deposit to be paid when the machine is dropped off. Don’t worry, this money will be applied to your final bill. The amount of the deposit depends on the type of machine. Basically, the amount of the deposit is exactly the amount of the bench fee for any type of machine, which can be seen below in the Service Charges table.
Standard Allowance: $20.00
When your machine gets onto the repair desk, we will do our best to assess the situation and give you an estimate if it looks like it might run you more than the standard service fee plus the standard allowance. This means that if your machine requires parts or labor beyond what is included in the standard service fee, we will go ahead and complete the work if the extras total less than $20.00. If you would rather us do something differently, please make sure to let us know when you drop your machine off.
How long does it take?
All service is done on a first-come-first-serve basis. The time-to-completion will vary based on work load. Typically, our lead time will vary from 5-15 business days. If your machine requires parts that need to be ordered, it depends on how long it takes to receive the parts. Please try to be patient with us. At any given time, there are several machines waiting for service and we try our very best to accomplish two goals:
- Provide quality service
- Work as quickly as possible without compromising quality.
